How to make watercolor aspiration cards

Our first adventure with making aspiration cards was so much fun, Nicki and I decided to offer it as a workshop. A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of teaching this process to a private group, and one participant emailed me later: “That was the most fun I’ve had in a very long time!”

Here are a few cards that Nicki and I made before and during the private workshop. (Click on the picture to see a larger version.)

If you’d like to give it a try, there are two ways to play:

1. Go to our Free Downloads page and get the printable PDF guide to making your own aspiration cards.

2. Join us in the studio this Saturday, 1:30-3:00 p.m. We’ll be making aspiration cards in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You can make one card or several, and they can be gifts to yourself or a special reminder for someone you love. There are still seats left at the table, but only until 11 p.m. today—so register now! (Prefer not to pay online? Just send us an email at to let me know you’re coming on Saturday. We take cash, checks, or credit/debit cards.)
